Framed: 26 x 22 3/4 inches.Canvas is not lined; moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; one pinpoint hole in upper canvas center; craquelures scattered throughout the surface that appear stable. Under UV light: a thick, green varnish layer obscures most viewing, but there does appear to be pinpoint spots of inpainting in the hat in the upper right corner; the standing woman's head and body, located by the mirror; as well as possible scattered strokes of inpainting in the lower third.
